In addition to What They Have, Robin's play Anon. was also commissioned by South Coast Repertory, and presented as part of the theater's 2004 NewSCRipts series. Her plays have also been developed at Manhattan Theater Club, Playwrights Horizons, New York Theatre Workshop, The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center's National Playwrights Conference, JAW/West at Portland Center Stage and Ensemble Studio Theatre. Television and film credits include "Six Feet Under" (writer/supervising producer) and "Coming Soon."

In What They Have, as in "Six Feet Under," happiness is fleeting and illusory and things are seldom what they seem. A complex and constantly morphing landscape of dissatisfactions links all four characters. They're motivated by the need for creative fulfillment, money and the ultimate sense of accomplishment: a child. Unrequited dreams – and dreams achieved that turn out to be nightmares – shift the ground under everyone's feet.

Robin received the 2003 Princess Grace Statuette for playwriting and is an alumna of New Dramatists.
